In the section of ethnology, the sub-divided chapters give the descriptions of the citizens of Lucknow, the society, local life, festivals etc. The concluding section describes the archaeology, domestic architecture, the general characteristics, classification of the buildingsand written sketches of the chief buildings and gardens of Lucknow. This book is a reprint of the 1883 edition.
