Al Maun is a group of ten people working on the marble craft in the city of the Taj (Agra). The craft has its origins from Persians who came to India around the 16th century and developed lattice craft in historical buildings like the Taj Mahal and Fatehpur Sikri. Today, they make home décor products like tubelights, aroma lamps, boxes, wall decor, coasters, lamps etc. in stone carving and lattice work. They have earned an Award of Excellence from the World Crafts Council in 2016 for their work.
