What is Sanatkada’s Return Policy? How does it work?

We're happy to share about the Return policy offered to our customers. With this option, if you don't like the product or if there is any issue, you will have the option of requesting the return request within one week of product delivery. At this moment, we are not able to facilitate the exchange of products. The only requirement of the return policy is that the item you're returning should be in its original conditions. Tags and packaging should remain intact and the product should not have been used. Once the item is received at the warehouse, there will be a quality check post which the refund will be processed. You're more than welcome to try on the product; however, please take adequate measure to avoid any damage to the product.

You can now apply for the return request directly from your Sanatkada account in the app or m-site. Please follow the simple steps mentioned below to submit your return request within 7 days from the order is delivered –

Log into your account

Go to the "My Orders” page

From the order list, select the order you want to apply for return

3) In the return application, select the products and quantity you want to return. In case of multiple products, please apply for return for each item by clicking on the return option against the item.

4) Select reason for return and write some details about the issue you have faced

5) Upload images for our team to review your request

6) Provide required details like pickup address, expected time for pickup and bank details in case of COD order

7) Submit the request

If you are not able to submit the return request online, please reach out to our support team at customercare@sanatkada.in

Once the return request is successfully submitted, our team will review your request and once the request is approved, our courier partner will be aligned to pick up the order as per your prescribed date and time, subject to availability. The refund will be processed when the product is delivered to our Warehouse and meets the quality parameters of the item. There will be no refund issued if the received product does not pass the quality check.

Please note, the amount will be refunded for the items only, other fees like shipping fee, cod service charges etc, are non-refundable. Also, our shipping partner will pick up your returned items at no extra as of now.

There are some exceptions in return policies of some items

The following EXCEPTIONS and RULES apply to this Policy:

1) Some products like fine jewelry, watches and selected products which are susceptible to damage can only be returned for a limited number of days. Please read the Product Detail Page to see the number of days up to which a product can be returned once delivered.

2) All items that need to be returned must be unused and in their original condition with all original tags and packaging intact (for e.g. shoes must be packed in the original shoe box).

3) In case you have purchased an item, which has a free gift/offer associated with it and you wish to return the main item, then your gift item also needs to be returned in order to process the required refund.

4) Sanatkada will not be liable for the products returned by mistake. If an extra or a different product is returned by mistake, Sanatkada would not be accountable for misplacement or replacement of the product and is not responsible for its delivery back to the Customer.

Limit on our responsibility to You

Except for any legal responsibility that we cannot exclude in law (such as for death or personal injury), we are not legally responsible for :

1) Losses that:

were not foreseeable to us when the contract was formed; or

that were not caused by any breach on our part

2) Business losses.

Except for any legal responsibility that we cannot limit in law (such as for death or personal injury), our whole liability to you in connection with your purchase will be limited to the amount that you paid us for the goods and delivery.

Disputes

We will try to resolve any disputes with you quickly and efficiently.

If you are unhappy with the goods, our service to you, or any other matter, please contact us as soon as possible.

If you want to take court proceedings, the courts of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh will have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to this contract.

Indian law will govern this contract and any claims or disputes arising out of or in connection with it (including non-contractual claims and disputes)

Third party rights

No one other than a party to this contract has any right to enforce any term of this contract.

Our Right to Amend Terms

We reserve the right to change these terms at any time and we encourage you to revisit these terms periodically to ensure that you are at all times fully aware of our terms. Any changes are effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of the website constitutes your agreement to all such terms. We may, with or without prior notice, terminate any of the rights granted by these terms. You shall comply immediately with any termination or other notice, including, as applicable, by ceasing all use of the website.

Discounts & Promotions

Discounts differ on individual products and will be considered for final invoicing irrespective of material used for promotional purpose.

We are unable to offer price adjustment on items originally purchased in a sale or on any special promotion items that are temporarily reduced in price. Once an item has been purchased at a discounted sale price, no price adjustment will be offered should the item be further marked-down / marked-up.

Promotion codes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. Furthermore, they cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion code or offers, and must be redeemed by the date published, if provided.

Indemnity & circumstances beyond control

We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a contract that is caused by events outside of our reasonable control. A Force Majeure Events includes any act, event, non-happening, omission or accident beyond our reasonable control and includes in particular (without limitation) the following strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action: civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation of war, fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster, impossibility of the use of Railways, Shipping, Aircraft, Motor transport or other means of public or private transport; impossibility of the use of public or private telecommunications networks, the acts decrees, legislation, regulations or restrictions of any government; and pandemic or epidemic. Our performance under any contract is deemed to be suspended for the period that the Force Majeure event continues, and we will have an extension of time for performance for the duration of that period. We will use our reasonable endeavors to bring the Force Majeure event to a close or to find a solution by with our obligations under the contract may be performed despite the Force Majeure Event.

REFUNDS

Refunds will only be done in the following cases:

Genuine sizing issues, only for unused garments with tags. Please review our size guides carefully before making your purchase.

Genuine quality issues.

Packages lost in transit.

In case Sanatkada discovers any mispricing in its online catalogue and the price charged to you is higher than the actual price.

In case Sanatkada discovers that a wrong item has been shipped to you.

In case the customer is not happy with the purchase and has returned the item/items to the address mentioned above. In such cases the filled return form should be included in the return shipment.

No refunds will be given in the following cases:

In case of minor design and colour variations. With handloom products there will always be some variation between products.

Incorrect or outdated delivery address.

Incorrect address format including any form of a PO Box address.

After 3 failed delivery attempts by the courier.

Package refused by recipient.

Products returned in a used or damaged condition.

Fabrics/Yardage will not be returned/refunded.

Note: Refunds will only be made after we have received the returned shipment except if the package has been lost in transit.
