The organization is three years old, started by Prasanna Lakshmi in Hyderabad. Her interest developed after working with NGOs that dealt with cotton fabrics. She has a group of about 15-20 cotton weavers based in Andhra Pradesh with whom she works closely. On the basis of customer preferences she places her orders with the weavers with specific colours, designs and textures for hand woven fabrics, dupattas, dress material etc.
