The Kuriappilly Handloom Weavers Co-operative Society is based in Paravur, Ernakulam district in Kerala. Founded in 1954, it supports 24 women weavers involved in the creation of finely hand-woven textiles. From a shattered state of the society during floods they got back on their feet within a span of one year with even more vigour.
